Tuesday after Sarah's appointment we went on a drive and she was SO excited to see a Chick Fil A. She loves Chick Fil A! Her appetite is back and she is doing really well.
Thursday morning Sarah had an MRI at Seattle Children's Hospital, then we went straight to her radiation appointment. She was pretty tired after being put to sleep twice in one day. Ideally they wouldn't put her to sleep twice in one day, but with the cracker incident on Monday we didn't really have other options.
Yesterday we had our weekly check in with the doctor at the proton center. I wasn't planning on knowing much from the MRI Sarah had because it was just something they needed to make sure the map of Sarah's brain was still accurate for radiation. The doctor walked in with a big smile and said, "Good MRI!!" I said, "What do you mean?" He told me there was no sign of tumor growth. I didn't really know how to register that....we have never had good results from an MRI other than right after surgery. We feel so blessed. We know Heavenly Father is very aware of her and directly involved in helping her. We do believe in miracles. We know Sarah still has a ways to go but we feel confident and know she is in God's hands.
