I have put off writing this blog post because Sarah's treatment plan has been changed a few times. So if I talked to you you may have heard different stories, but that was the current plan. Her team of doctors is fantastic and they all wanted to make sure everything was perfect before we started.
Sarah starts inpatient chemo a few days after Christmas. It will be new chemos she has never had. They are higher doses of chemo than she had before, so high she couldn't recover on her own like she did before....so she will start the stem-cell rescue. She gets her own stem-cells back that were recovered after her first round of chemo. Sarah will do two rounds of these chemotherapies, then we will do another MRI to check the tumor. If everything looks good we will finish the last round of chemo, then go to Seattle for Proton Radiation. (If the MRI doesn't look good we will leave for Seattle for radiation before the last round of chemo).

Sarah has been doing SO well. She was walking the night after her surgery, and we were home two days after surgery. She still runs, plays, laughs, dances, and sneaks up on people...She's totally Sarah!
We have been up to Primary Children's Hospital a few times for check ups. Each time we've gone to say hi to her friend Oliver. The last time Sarah saw him awake was on Monday. He was in more pain than I've ever seen someone in, but he was so kind and happy to see Sarah. He told her he loved her. We said goodbye to him yesterday. Going back up to the ICS unit just won't be the same without him. It will be hard to tell Sarah he isn't there when she wants to wander down his hall, wave at him through his window and blow him kisses.
This is a world I never thought I would be thrown in....no mom ever does. It's so hard to watch your child in so much pain. We are never alone though. We have the help of so many friends and family, doctors and nurses, and more angels than we know. I'm so grateful for all of you! I'm so grateful for the other moms who are going through this who have been such wonderful examples to me.
On Monday Nathan and I went up to Salt Lake with Sarah for an appointment. After the appointment we took Sarah to the temple and to the Christus. The Spirit there is SO strong. We are so grateful for our Savior. He is always watching over our Sarah, and all of us. I know He lives and loves us, supports us, and carries us.

We love Him, and we love you all!!
